The focus for the 2013-2014 PTA Annual Fund will be on incorporating Discovering Science, a Science Specialist program to LRES: www.discoveringscience.com This is a custom tailored IN CLASS science enrichment program that is designed to compliment classroom curriculum. They incorporate the National Science Standards into all their programs and believe hands-on experience leads to genuine understanding. This program will greatly benefit all of the students at LRES and we are hoping to raise enough funds to enjoy two trimesters of Discovering Science. Thank you to all of our LRES families that joined the PTA for the 2011/2012 school year.  You membership counts!  Also, a big thank you to everyone that has participated in our school fundraisers.  Your contributions will allow us to continue to fund your favorite programs for our students.

New Computer Lab Approved

A huge THANK YOU again to everyone who donated to this year's PTA Annual Fund! Your donations enabled us to purchase a new computer lab for our students. The computer lab was installed over Spring Break and all of our classes are currently enjoying use of the new computers!  Any old computers that were still functioning were rotated to the classrooms.
